All Kids Yoga
Yoga is an excellent recreational activity for all children, including those
with developmental disabilities. Yoga is non-competitive and is focused
on building self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-control. Children will
learn how to use their breath to calm and center their minds. They will
learn how to honor and move their bodies to strengthen and elongate
their muscles. It is an activity they can do throughout their lifetime.
Who can benefit?
All children could benefit from learning how their breath affects their
mental state, how to control their emotions, how to focus and concentrate
their minds while maintaining a lifelong fitness activity.
